| Description.Fremantle is the historic working port of Perth full of heritage buildings, and the gateway to Western Australia with beaches, character, sunshine and a Mediterranean climate. Surfing, wineries, beaches and wild flowers are all one to three hours away. Firenze Cottage is a character cottage (1930's with mod-cons) on a quiet and friendly street in South Fremantle. It is five-minute walk to the beach, the Fremantle Sailing Club is at the end of our street. We are a 15-minute walk to the centre of Fremantle, a working port and historic town. There are two bedrooms with queen beds, and a single bed/day bed in the lounge. We have a treed, shaded and fenced garden. We have a nice veranda facing the street that serves as our outdoor summer living area.... chats with the local neighbours and dog walkers are chance encounters we enjoy. There is a grocery store, restaurants, coffee shop, second hand bookshop, seafood store; fresh bakery, health food store and bottle shop 2-3 minutes walk from our cottage. South Fremantle is a thoroughly delightful place to live and visit, with easy to access the City of Fremantle and Perth City by train. We will consider renting as well as exchange. | ||
