| Description. Comfortable brick home on high side of street - good view. The two bedrooms contain a double bed in each. An office could accommodate a single bed if required. Good size back yard mostly lawn. Inside large black, fluffy cat - outside 2 little dogs. Sam the cat is aloof and only needs a feed. Peppi and Cara the little dogs will run around and love attention. City has population of approx 25,000 and is mid way between Melbourne and Adelaide. Volcanic area so there are many limestone caves and sink holes. Farming area and pine forests. A half hour north is a great wine growing area (Coonawarra). 20 minutes drive south is the southern ocean. A great (long) day trip or weekend trip is to the Grampians National Park in Victoria. Coming from Melbourne the best trip is along the Great Ocean Road - can be done in a day but better to stay somewhere along the way. Mount Gambier has links to Adelaide and Melbourne by daily bus and plane (2 flight per day) | ||
