Description. My cottage is
located in Katoomba, on a quiet lane and has its own lovely garden. It
has modern facilities, although parts of the cottage are a century old
(Edwardian Federation timber style) and I have begun to carefully
restore its classic features. It is within easy walking distance of the
famous Three Sisters, Lurline Street, Katoomba Street, and the major
tourist facilities of Australia's most popular destination. Sydney City
and International Airport are about 2 hours by comfortable trains, even
less by car, and the City highlights can easily be visited on a daily
basis from here. The town centre of Katoomba is 400 metres away, and the
wilderness walks start just 700 metres away. Guides and tourism services
are available locally with walking, climbing, abseiling, canyoning,
golf, and sightseeing being the most popular activities.
