Frankston has an abundance of shops, theatres, restaurants, lovely beaches & public transport. The train service is every 15 minutes to the centre of Melbourne. Its position is an ideal touring base to explore this scenic & varied part of Australia. The scenic fern gullies of the Dandenong ranges 45 minutes by car, is the place to get close to nature. Sherbrooke forest has lovely walks & is the place to see Crimson Rosella's. The nearby towns are famed for their antique & craft shops. Great Ocean Road is 2 hours drive to some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. The towns of Lorne & Apollo bay are pretty & beautiful places for picnics by the rolling surf. Phillip Island 90 minutes drive, famed for it's Fairy penguins, Koalas & Kangaroos. Come and Visit Aussie! | ||
