| Description. Our home is a modern apartment plus private garden in a residential suburb of Vienna close to the Vienna Woods and vineyards. It is half an hour by public transport to the center of Vienna (Opera, St. Stephens Cathedral, the famous Sacher Hotel, the Musikverein where the annual New Year's Concert is performed and the Prater, Vienna's amusement area with the Ferris Wheel. The apartment itself has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, central heating and floor heating, kitchen, dining room and living room as well as an office. The building itself (28 apartments, 2 floors only, lots of glass) is actually quite well-known for its architectural style and listed in some guides on modern Viennese buildings. There is a garage and we could also exchange each other's cars. We are looking for a home exchange at Christmas 2001, from December 23 to January 6th at the lastest. Our preferred destination would be New York City, the Boston area, somewhere along the East Coast, maybe also Washington DC. My web page only shows my company's activities, i.e. German language courses in Austria. We have plenty of know-how to enable you a very pleasant stay based in our home and would hope to be equally assisted for our stay in YOUR home in the US. Hoping to hear from you soon.
