| Description. Our home is a traditional east end ,2 story Toronto home. We have a 2 car garage and would be willing to exchange cars. We live directly across from the subway line so you can be at the main intersection of downtown Toronto in 10 minutes. Our street is a busy one but we have installed heavy roll down shutters so the noise from the street is not a problem. We live within walking distance of the Beaches and Greektown- both vibrant communities. Our immediate area has all the conveniences with a large grocery store directly across from us. We have a lovely front garden and also a perennial back garden which is completely fenced. We also have a very large terrace off the main bedroom. The terrace is alive with pots of flowers and climbing vines. One of the attractions of Toronto is the island that you reach by ferry. We have a 30 foot sailboat moored there that we might be interested in exchanging or renting. Many people live aboard their boats in the summer so that might be an alternative for some. Toronto is alive with festivals at all times of the year and we consider ourselves the safest city in North America. We are close to Stratford- a town with a Shakespearean festival that runs to November and also to Niagara Falls. A 3 hour drive will bring you to Algonquin Park for the wilderness experience and in 1 hour you could be skiing in the winter. | |||
