I live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1200 square foot fairly cozy, nicely furnished, an open kitchen to the living room, with gas fireplace in living room, a nice dining room area, king sized bed in master, futon and internet available computer in the spare bedroom. The condominium has a covered garage and storage. I am located on the east coast of beautiful Vancouver Island, a 5 minute drive to the BC ferries for a 2 hour ferry ride to the city of Vancouver, Whistler Ski areas. I have a beautiful ocean view. My complex strata is designed for seniors and is very peaceful and quiet, with beautiful gardens, and is very well maintained, with wheelchair entrances if necessary. Vancouver Island is extremely beautiful with many resort areas and ski hills in the surrounding local areas and in the Whistler area. The city I live in is called Nanaimo, it is a 1 and 1/2 hour car/bus/train ride to the beautiful capital city of Victoria, which is located at the Southern Tip of Vancouver Island and is renowned for its beautiful gardens. A short day trip up the west coast to the Long Beach, Tofino area is a must, with its beautiful beaches to discover and lush forests and mountains. | |||
