| Description. We are looking for a house swap in Vancouver. We want to leave for a year (and possibly for two years) from July 2001 to July 2002 (or 2003). The main reason of this experience is to improve our English speaking, especially for our two children of 9 and 11 years old. My husband will work as software department director in downtown Vancouver. We enjoy very much outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, kayaking, cycling, etc. and we know we will appreciate the environment of Vancouver. Our house is well located in the north part of Quebec city, at 15 minutes driving to downtown, 10 minutes to Laval University, 2 kilometers to the largest shopping center, close to cycle paths, 20 minutes to ski areas and less than 30 minutes from the beautiful nature of the Laurentides. Our house is located on a quiet street of about 25 years old with trees. It is a safety place for a family. The house will be fully furnished and the kitchen well equipped. The 3 bedrooms are on the same floor and there is a large office downstairs. In the living room you will appreciate the fireplace and the piano. We have a garden patio to enjoy the meals during the summer season and a large private backyard with kids playground. We are non smokers and we would prefer non-smokers exchangers. Pets negotiable. | ||
