Description. Welcome to the New Zealand's
beautiful Garden City. Christchurch is central for all activities and main
cities within the South Island. There are the gorgeous Port Hills,
mountain streams, swimable rivers, and scenic walking tracks.
Christchurch offers day trips in & out of the city including the
Hamner hot pools, Waipara winery, Kaikoura whale watching and the
Southern Alps. It is a good base for exploring the wonder which South
Island offers all year round. We are located in the southern part of the
city (Upper Riccarton). It only takes 5 minutes to the central city and
the malls are a 5-10 minutes walk. The local restaurants are divine. Our
home is a spacious, sunny 3bdrm, plus a sleep-out. We have bathroom and
two toilets. The property has a wonderful backyard. Our cat Ernie would
be your host (and we're sure he wouldn't mind if you fed him during your
stay). There is a large lounge and dining room, study, kitchen with
dishwasher, and a spacious garage. We are willing to exchange our car,
a Toyota Corona. There are two adults (mid 40s) and two children
(13yrs). We have traveled and absolutely enjoy meeting people.
