Our spacious
apartment is on the second floor of a unique building. Built in 1710, this
warehouse now contains 65 apartments with all modern conveniences. Our
house is on the south east corner of the building, making it light and
sunny all year round. It has some beautiful Dutch details, like a high
wooden ceiling, a wooden floor and eight ceiling-to-floor-windows, which
gives access to six little balconies. It's also possible to sit outside in
our shared garden. The large bedroom has a king-size bed and contains a
fully equipped office. In our modern kitchen everything is found for an
amateur chef. You can also play the piano in our large living/dining room.
The home would best suit single professionals or a couple. Situated on the edge of the historic centre, our neighborhood has all the advantages of inner city living, but none of the disadvantages of city crowds. There's a bus stop 100 meters away, which brings you to the Central Station in five minutes. From there everything is in walking distance. You can also use our 2 bikes, our car or our canal boat. Amsterdam is one of the greatest European city's, known for its relaxed atmosphere. It has many museums, great restaurants, lovely shops, cafes and markets. Because Holland is a small country with an excellent road and train system, you can go anywhere from Amsterdam, making it a great base to explore Europe. |
