| Description. We have a wonderful one bedroom apartment in San Francisco, located just above the Castro right off of Market Street. The house was built around the turn of the century, and still carries the charm of the period. We are on the first floor and on a quiet street, but just minutes away from shops, cafes, trains and the subway system (MUNI). The Castro is very centrally located with easy transportation to anywhere in the city. The apartment can comfortably sleep two, but there is an air mattress and extra living room for more people. The kitchen is bright and sunny with a deck that overlooks a typical San Francisco valley filled with homes. There is a wonderful backyard that is shared with our neighbor.
