	Description. We have three kids, ten, eight, and six, and the place is well equipped for children. Our home has about 380 square meters, is new, and in a contemporary Mediterranean style. The lot is about 2000 square meters, mostly undeveloped with oak and fruit trees. The house has several balconies and patios with views of an adjacent vineyard and city park. The park runs for several km along a creek and has free lighted tennis courts, children's play apparatus, and a running/bicycling/walking trail. Our car is a 1999 Chevrolet Venture Van that seats up to 8. Modesto is a pleasant tree-shaded city of 200,000 in the center of California. San Francisco is less than two hours away, Yosemite National Park is about two and a half hours.
