Description. 2 bedroom, 1
bath ground floor condo with fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, VCR. Wrap
around deck overlooking private wooded path to a pond. Canoe available
for sunset views on the pond. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the
other has two full beds. Laundry facilities on condo premises. Propane
gas grill with private outdoor picnic table right outside condo.
Yarmouth is located on Cape Cod about an hour Southeast of Boston.
Hyannis (of Kennedy fame) is 3 miles away and the artists' colony,
Provincetown is about 45 minutes away. 15 minute walk to Nantucket Sound
beaches from condo. Walk to shops, restaurants. Cape Cod is known for
its great seafood - lobster, fried clams, etc., etc. Watch the fishing
fleet bring giant tuna in at Provincetown. Whale watch cruises guarantee
a whale sighting and last year I saw 2 Right Whales. Take a dune tour
and watch the sunset. There are over 50 golf courses from par 3's,
links, and tournament quality courses. Dress on the cape is casual but
you can bring a blazer for "dress up" occasions. Spectacular
surf on the ocean and gentle waves on the bay. Great fishing from shore
or boat -- both fresh and salt water. Temperatures range from 30's/40's
(Fahrenheit) in winter to 70's/80's in the summer. July/August are prime
time. September/October very beautiful and all the tourists are gone.
Hyannis airport has frequent flights to Boston, Provincetown, Martha's
Vineyard, Nantucket. The airport is 3 miles from the condo. Car/bike
rentals available within walking distance of the condo. Condo is perfect
for two people and can accommodate up to 4 comfortably. We are open to
new places either in the US or Europe. We love San Francisco, Bermuda,
Arizona, New Mexico, Italy, UK, Ireland, France and Germany and would
love to visit other countries. Summer is best for us.
