| Description. Our 1 bedroom
apartment is located in Forest Hills - a beautiful and peaceful
residential neighborhood in Queens, NY. Local shopping area is a block
away and it is extremely well connected to local bus/ subway service
($1.50) to Manhattan (45 mins. to midtown), if you are coming to view what
the city has to offer. The express bus service to the city is just 2
blocks from the apartment. If you are visiting and would like a more
serene environment, a lake and park are a short walk away (5-7 mins). Additional places of interest, if you are a sports fan, are the Shea Stadium (for Baseball fans) and the Tennis courts where the US Opens are held. Both are just a short drive away (by taxi less than $10). For winter sports, there is an Ice rink in the same driving range. For those who may be traveling by air, La Guardia airport is just a few miles away (less than 10 mins by cab), whereas JFK is about 20 mins away (without traffic) but could take longer during rush hours |
