Description. Staying in a spacious (2,000+ square foot) apartment rather than a hotel is the way to visit New York. This bright & airy 9th floor, 2 bedroom loft is the perfect answer. This is a renovated turn of the century building, resulting in the ambience of an older building but all the modern conveniences of a modern building. It has 24/7 doorman/concierge service, a full fitness center, washer dryer on each floor and a spacious common use roof garden for enjoying cocktails with a panoramic view of New York.
This air conditioned apartment unit has a large living/dining area with an adjacent modern kitchen complete with accessories & all modern kitchen appliances (washer/dryer is also available on the floor) . The 2 bedrooms are large, with 2 full bathrooms & plenty of closet space. In keeping with the Chelsea area, this fully furnished apartment has contemporary furniture with modern art adorning the walls. The apartment also has: A/C, a stereo with a library of CD's, 3 TV's with VCR & DVD players. If needed, the guest bedroom has a fold out sofa & 2 of the living room sofas convert to a bed, sleeping 6 comfortably.
Manhattan has rebounded post 9/11 with more energy than ever and the Chelsea neighborhood has lead the way. Around 5 years ago the art galleries began moving from the upper east side & Soho to Chelsea and the shops & restaurants followed. It has become the hot neighborhood in Manhattan. The location of the apartment building, 7the Av. between 24th & 25th, is perfect for the theater district (16 short blocks north) or Greenwich Village (14 short blocks south) . Public transportation is convenient being only one block from 2 of the major subway lines. Within a 10 minute walk there are more 1st class restaurants than you can possibly visit. If you want a relaxing meal in the apartment, there is a top line specialty food store in the building's commercial 1st floor space, with a complete array of gourmet food- it couldn't be easier. Chelsea is the neighborhood for those who want to be connected to New York's theater & contemporary art world.
