| Description. We're interested in exchanging homes in June, July, and/or August. We are an adult couple. I'm a New York city teacher (happily on sabbatical until September) and Martin is retired from his work with an international bank. Adult children may or may not visit us for a week or two. We'd have to work that out with you. We live in Queens, New York, US. Queens is part of New York City, but is more suburban than Manhattan. Yet, it's close enough for you to enjoy the museums, shows, restaurants, and excitement of the city. The apartment we're exchanging is a sunny three bedroom apartment, however one bedroom is set up as an office/library and has no bed. The third bedroom is rented out to a student during the year and is not available for use. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed. The living room couch opens to a queen- size bed, as well. Therefore the apartment would only accommodate four people comfortably. Two in the master bedroom and two in the living room. The air-conditioned apartment has a full bathroom, a living room with cable TV, VCR, stereo, a dining area, and a modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and other conveniences . Washer and dryer are a few steps away once you walk outside the building... no problem during the summer. There's a public library next door and plenty of reading material in the apartment. | ||
