Description. We have a
large, new, 5-bedroom house in a beautiful academic town with famous
Princeton University, a three hundred year old, ivy-league school.
Locally, the University town provides world-class entertainment,
restaurants and museums and galleries. In the summer the University
Theater hosts operas, ballet and plays. Our house is very generous,
light-filled, with all modern amenities, and we have extensive sports
equipment for biking, tennis, etc. (We have three children ages 6, 12
and 16.) Next to our house is a 2500 acre county park with a boating and
fishing lake and extensive bike trails. (This is linked in this
listing.) Our house is four miles from the main transit line into New
York City - so in an hour, you can be in the heart of Manhattan with all
its energy and excitement, then home to our quiet neighborhood for the
evening. We are also 45 minutes to the shore, so your vacation could
include day trips to the beach - we will leave all the directions and
information for making it easy to get to local, interesting locations.
We are fairly flexible about places to go - we have frequent flier
tickets we'd like to use for our family for a summer vacation, but are
open to other ideas as well. Our friendly dog, guinea pig and fish are
here, but we can arrange for care for them elsewhere if it is
preferable.
