Description. Our home is in
the center of a small village located directly on the border between
Vermont and Quebec. Built in 1911, the house is often referred to as the
prettiest house in the village. We're fortunate that no previous owner
painted over the beautiful woodwork (the original owner operated one of
the local wood mills!). We've upgraded the kitchen, added an orangery,
and developed the gardens on the small village lot. There's a
spectacular wood-burning fireplace in the living room, a formal dining
room, a music room with a grand piano and a player piano, and a
wonderful wrap-around porch. Our location in the center of our little
village places us minutes from the grocery, post office, library, two
good restaurants, two churches, and one of the local waterfalls.
