Description. Stunning
views over the river Thames close to Central London, from an
architecturally listed apartment block in an area full of historical
associations (not least with the pre-Raphaelite movement). The light is
enchanting and the morning mists and sunsets a revelation. Two double
bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, study, octagonal dining room and
a 23foot sitting room with French windows giving onto a 30foot
south-facing balcony directly over the river. Very close to shops,
restaurants, theatres and all amenities, excellent public transport, 3
minutes to underground station and Piccadilly Circus in 18 minutes. Car
swap possible for exploring the rest of Great Britain. Often used as a
film and TV location, the flat is comfortable light and airy with all
modern conveniences (fully fitted kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher
etc., satellite TV, 50" plasma screen, DVD, video, stereo etc., an
upright Broadwood piano and original paintings. We are literally one
minute from major banks and shops, and nearby there are four gyms, four
cinemas, three theatres and many traditional pubs (the nearest est. in
1772!). Motorway connections are excellent and Hammersmith station is at
the convergence of three main underground lines. The flat really is a
calming and perfect antidote to a day spent in the hustle and bustle of
the city. It's friendly, comfortable ... and at its best full of happy
people ! More details and a tour of the flat can be found at our
web-page.
