Also close to the M5 and M4 motorways with quick access to the Midlands, London or South Wales. Other well known land marks close by are the Sailsbury Plain, Stone Henge and Avebury (a must visit!) The house has a large, very well equipped Kitchen and Breakfast Room, separate Dining Room, Lounge with Conservatory. All mod cons, including dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave, and in a separate utility room there is a further microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a study (with internet connected PC, with unlimited access, and exercise bike) and very large children's playroom (with another Gaming PC, TV, video, Hi-Fi and loads of toys & games). The landscaped garden includes a traditional thatched pavilion, children's barked play area and well stocked flower borders and herb garden. (We've even got a Karaoke machine for the kids - but the grown-ups use it too!! [it connects to the TV and Hi-Fi in the lounge with loads of CDGs). The Neighborhood Dursley is a quiet town on the edge of the Cotswolds, on 'The Cotswold Way' (70 mile walking trail). It is close to the world renowned Slimbridge Wild Fowl Trust, set in a woodland area on rolling hills. A small number of shops are close to hand, with larger Supermarkets available at Stroud (6 miles) and/or Cheltenham and Gloucester (16 miles). We have built an extensive internet site which provides much more detail about us, our home, and links to many local attractions. The site also includes maps of the local area and other home exchange information (see link). Other Information For keen Golfers there are a number of courses within 20 min drive (we have 2 adult and 2 child sets of clubs [all with trolleys] which you can use if you like) Likewise there are many real ale, traditional style English Pubs in the surrounding area - previous swapper have found 'The Old Spot' the friendliest pub they've ever visited. Bristol is the nearest big City (25 miles / 30 minutes by M5 motorway) which also has a lively and historic marina and dockland area with an Imax and Science centre. Just south of Bristol is the Somerset and Devon coastline with it's beautiful beaches and rolling moorland countryside We also have adult and child mountain bikes which you are more than welcome to use during your stay. Non-smokers preferred - children welcome. A brand new, fully loaded, Ford Galaxy Ghia People Carrier (7 seat) is available for exchange, with fully comprehensive insurance, provided reciprocal arrangements can be made.

Who are we?
We are a family of 4. Rob and Nadine are 40 and 32 respectively with two boys, Simon and Stephen aged 7 and 6. Rob is a Network Service Strategy Manager for Lloyds TSB, Europe's No.1 Bank. We love family holidays and having spent over 2 years managing the build of our own house and getting the landscaping just right we started to get into swapping 2 years ago. Having got some experience under our belts, we welcome first time exchangers, as we are able to give some useful advice and guidance - I don't think we'll holiday any other way again!
