fronted Victorian house, over 2, 000sq ft. On the ground floor, there is a
TV room with sofa bed, a large office (4 phone lines, fax, high-speed
internet access etc) , a modern kitchen dining room with all modern
appliances, (seats 8 comfortably) , a utility room, cloakroom and also the
34' sitting room with French doors onto the garden. On the first floor
there are four double bedrooms, one of which is en-suite. The large family
bathroom is modern with a separate shower. Our 110' walled garden is
private and extremely unusual for central London. There is a large patio
with dining table seating up to ten. It has a slide, swing, sandpit and a
great tree house. There is parking for two cars on the drive and no
restrictions on the road itself. Nicoll Rd is a quiet tree lined road and I have good neighbours. A wonderful park with play areas for toddlers and older children and a fab cafe is a ten minute walk away. Public transport is excellent. The nearest Tube (just over 5min to walk) is Willesden Junction on the Bakerloo line and trains run directly to Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus (22 mins) . The Bakerloo line is generally considered the best in London and trains run every eight minutes. There is also an overground service covering east, north and west London. Hampstead Heath is 18mins, Richmond 15mins. Queens Park (good restaurants, great park) is 5mins by tube or rail. There are lots of buses into the West End (Oxford St etc) and to West London. Motorway links to all areas north and west are less than a 10 drive. I have a four year old son who has been taught to respect other people's homes, we have completed nine happy and successful exchanges. I am a single mother who may travel with my au pair and possibly my parents. |
